Our Operations Dept will co-ordinate with you. We always remind you both in writing & by phone.

Accounts: Example Accounting Period ending 31 March

You get a letter first week April, followed by a phone call to arrange collection of documents. We want to prepare your Accounts within 3 months of your Year End accounting date. We remind you of missing documents both by letter (or email) & phone. Once draft accounts are ready we arrange a date for our Chartered Accountant to come & visit you to discuss them at your business premises on a working day at a time convenient to you. Tax planning is discussed at the same meeting. After the meeting we will make any necessary amendments & forward you 3 binded copies & file accounts as required. Your documents are also returned.

VAT: Example quarter ending 31 March

You get a letter last week March followed by a phone call to arrange collection of documents by 10 April. We want to prepare your VAT Return by 25 April latest. We remind you of missing purchase invoices & other major documents. Once processed we will call you to discuss your VAT Return, the VAT liability & all the computations you are interested in. Once finalized & agreed, the VAT Return will be filed on line & your documents returned along with our VAT Report which is designed to meet all the requirements of a VAT Inspection.

Bookkeeping: Example month ending 31 March

You get a letter last week March followed by a phone call to arrange collection of documents by 10 April. We will email you documents that are missing & also queries. We will phone to discuss. We aim to complete the Bookkeeping by 25 April.

Payroll: Example weekly… You need by Friday

We agree a cut off time, say Tuesday 4 pm, If we do not get hours by Tuesday 5pm, you will have an email or fax from us by 9am Wednesday to remind you of what we require. If we still do not have these details by 1pm Wednesday, you will get a phone call. It is essential that your payroll run is processed by Wednesday 5pm in order that you get the wage slips posted &emailed to you by latest Thursday in order that your staff have them for Friday.

Self Assessment Tax Returns

We will write to you in April requesting the documents we need. Once received, we will email you and/or phone you the queries we have. We want your Tax Return completed by 31 July. If you do not send us the documents we require, we will keep on both writing & phoning you. We do not want you to be late or to be penalized.

We will discuss your Tax liability & propose ways where by you can reduce your Tax liability. Once satisfied, we will file the Tax Return on line & give you a hard copy for your records.
